Live without Limits

Is there something in your life that you really want to do but feel that you cannot do it? The good news is that you that you absolutely CAN do it.

“If you are gonna make a change, you’re gonna have to operate from a new belief that says life happens not to me but for me.” Tony Robbins

The experiences that you have in your life can determine how you manage your future. If you allow that experience to negatively impact your life it will become a limitation that will keep you from achieving your full potential. Experiences that can limit you come in many shapes and forms. They can be things that were painful, words that were harsh, an abusive situation, restrictive rules that were placed on you as a child, a personal experience that was not successful, an embarrassment, a professional situation that caused you doubt and many other examples.

Whether you want to be, do or have something more in your life, the reason that you don’t already have it is because you have a fear of not being able to achieve it. This fear is caused by a limiting belief that you have acquired in your life. If you want to achieve your highest potential, you must first remove this limitation from your belief system.

The way you remove it is to first identify what the limitation is by asking yourself a series of “why” questions. Begin by asking yourself, “Why have you not achieved this already?” Be honest with yourself. Most of the time this answer will be because you don’t have what it takes to achieve it. Then ask yourself, “Why, don’t you have what it takes to achieve it?” Answer honestly, then ask again, “Why?” Continue this process until the answer that you give yourself is one that you have an “Ah Ha Moment”. That is a moment where you say to yourself, “Ah Ha, now I see why!”

Once you have the real reason then you can move to the next step which accepting that what happened is the past and that whatever it was is in the past. Allow it to just be what it is because what is in the past is just an event it is not who you are. The experiences that you have had in your past are actually the things that have given you strength and knowledge to achieve more today. All too often the past is allowed to relive itself in the future. This produces the same result over and over again.

After you have acceptance, you must be able to forgive yourself and anyone else that was involved. This is a show stopper for a lot of people because they cannot let go of the significance that they think they get from harboring this experience and holding it against themselves and others. It has become a point of existence for them. If this is you is has also become yours.

The next steps are allowing yourself to dream, writing them down, then going through the discovery and planning process to achieve those dreams.

It doesn’t matter who you are, where you have been, or what you have been through, you can have everything in life that you want.
